Review of An Education (2009) by Noel K — 28 Apr 2011
You could fault the ending of the movie as too simple or even have a minor gripe about something--my gripe was that an anti-Semitic crack was used in the script just to shock the audience and had nothing to do with the character.
But young new actress Carey Mulligan is easy to like. What a soundtrack, pre-Beatles and early-sixties London and Paris: Juliette Greco's version of "Sous Le Ciel de Paris," for example, and Vince Guaraldi's "Since I Fell For You," and, in the last credits, Duffy's "Smoke Without Fire.
