Review of An Education (2009) by Simon O — 17 Mar 2012
Nick Hornby, writer of "High Fidelity" presents a story of conflict and a bit of scandal in 1960s England. The way Scherfig directed, he focused on parts of the story like the auction, jazz clubs and masquerading around Paris as opposed to focusing on the sex and other parts of the relationships he could have included that don't tie in as much with the risk of Mulligan's character losing the chance for an Oxford education.
