Review of An Autumn Afternoon (1962) by Ryan M — 01 Jul 2010
This is probably my favorite film of all time! The paradox of modern life, that of being lonely in bustling urban life, has never been more poignant than in this film and set the precendent for wong kar wai's films in the 90's.
The ending is sheer trancendence in its overpowering minimalism.
