Review of An American Werewolf in Paris (1997) by Ryan V — 05 May 2012
This tepid pseudo-sequel to An American Werewolf in London focuses on an American tourist (Tom Everett Scott) in the City of Lights. He's enchanted by a Gallic beauty (Julie Delpy) that he rescues from a suicide attempt, but that ultimately leads to CGI lycanthropy.
An American Werewolf in Paris has the base facsimile of the original's plot, but all the humor, originality, horror, and quality has been washed away. Even the most steadfast fans of werewolf movies should pass this one over.
