Review of An American Werewolf in London (1981) by Francis M — 29 May 2010
In my opinion the greatest werewolf movie ever made. John Landis puts in such a subtle dark humor throughout the film that almost creeps up on you more than the actual werewolf. The best part was that the mythology behind the werewolf was completely different an unexpected, the addition of the ghosts haunting their killers was so funny an demented at the same time.
Truly a horror/comedy masterpiece.
