Review of An American Werewolf in London (1981) by Jamie D — 09 Aug 2010
A highly enjoyable film from start to finish, that really pokes fun at the English in a light-hearted way. A hilarious plot, and a sort of attempt at terrifying audiences. Compliments must obviously go the iconic metamorphosis scene which stands out as one of the films highlights, and really sticks with you after the film for all the right reasons. One of the greatest comic-horror films that is both witty and engaging. It could have pushed the horror a little further, but when a film is as enjoyable as this, who cares?
Jack: Have you tried talking to a corpse? It's boring.
