Review of An American Werewolf in London (1981) by Courtney G — 14 Jan 2011
This was a great movie written by John Landis and yes it was just great. The acting was probably the only thing that was pretty bad but everything else was good. The plot all made sense and I thought it was good enough so I'm going to let that one get off the hook.
The humour's pretty good I understand his humour so I thought it was funny. There were a few I guess naughty bits like the shower scene an when they were at the cinemas but, I'm not here to rate a movie on it's naughtiness.
The horror and I guess special effects or masks were excellent. I love the bit were his in bed and he looks like the vampire from Salem's Lot. The werewolf was also good as well. And the music. There wasn't a lot of music so I'm not going rate that.
Afterall, this was a great movie. 4 stars.
