Review of An American Werewolf in London (1981) by Michael B — 17 Oct 2012
'An American Werewolf in London' succeeds in being equally as atmospheric and terrifying as it is funny. Being a horror-comedy, sometimes the tone isn't quite consistent and you occasionally find that some ideas aren't quite fleshed out as they could be, but the dream sequences, transformation scenes, and limbo conversations aren't things you'll be forgetting soon.
