Mixing scares with humor, An American Werewolf in London is one more rare case of a horror-comedy: A legitimate horror movie which just happens to feature a lot of comedy. The effects are great, the characters are nicely developed and sympathetic, the dialogue is pitch perfect, and the scares are utterly fantastic.
