Review of An American Werewolf in London (1981) by Ian F — 24 Dec 2012
Personally, I find An American Werewolf in London to be the best modern werewolf film ever made, thanks to dedicated and intelligent direction by John Landis, good performances from the cast, a great sense of humor that doesn't overpower the sheer horror of the situation, and Rick Baker's jaw-dropping make-up effects.
That transformation scene is still a howler. Pun intended.
