Review of An American Werewolf in London (1981) by Chris N — 18 May 2013
A wonderfully written, haunting film that for it's time did a great job at combining elements of dark comedy, fantasy & horror. Landis doesn't overexpose the audience with violence and try to shock you with it like most horror films do but instead uses it to work with the chilling atmosphere & tension he creates.
One of the greatest horror films of all time.
