The film is apparently based on true events. If so then it was very freaky. The story is about a haunted home of a family in the state of Tennessee in the 1800's. This spirit is very violent and wants revenge against the family for a reason.
I won't give that away but I will say this was a very creepy movie. A good cast with Donald Sutherland, Sissy Spacek and James D'Arcy. A interesting story of the supernatural. Worth a watch.
