Review of An American Crime (2007) by Cassie K — 30 Jul 2009
Hollywood version - didn't like it much. Of course I'm subconsciously comparing it to Gregory Wilson's version because that one includes a difficult-to-swallow reality that most Americans are afraid of knowing about.
This one is better paced, though. I don't know if it's due to having it structured as every other Hollywood film (Sure seems like it) but it's not as repetitive as it might seem if you're planning to see it immediately after The Girl Next Door.
