Review of An American Crime (2007) by Wendy S — 18 Aug 2011
Ominous building movie. Thought the "crime" would have been perpetrated by a male-- the way the story began-- pleased it took a turn of the unexpected. Story of how a woman manifested her own sick fantasy/abuse onto another human/child.
The parallel to the neglected dog was so well done. Very sad; super acting by Page, Keener and the other main lead kids.
