Review of An American Carol (2008) by Jeremiah S — 03 Oct 2008
The ridiculousness of liberalism is comedy that just writes itself. This movie just capitalizes on that ridiculousness.
However, the movie wasn't all that good. It was basically a comedy that rehashed old school slap stick with a dialogue that exposes liberal idiocy in foreign policy, though in doing so doesn't necessarily make conservative foreign policy look all that great.
The political humor in the movie "Team America World Police" (though very crude) was much more hilarious than this movie.
Overall though, it's a good laugh, and could even be educational concerning some issues of US and European history. The musical dancing scene with the Columbia University Professors was especially funny, and the historical perspective of Kennedy, FDR was great too.
