Review of An American Carol (2008) by Wendy F — 10 Oct 2008
Exceeded all expectations. Normally I'd concede that comedy is better left to the "left", as conservatism is admittedly square... but this movie shatters the mold. Not only does it carry a profound message while presenting a convincing case.
.. IT'S ALSO GENUINELY FUNNY! I have to say I am thoroughly impressed and pleasantly surprised. Did I mention it stars Chris Farley's brother? He's remarkable apt for comedy and his spooky resemblance to big brother lays the icing on the cake.
Kool-aid drinkers and pinheads steer clear, but a must see for regular folks.
