Review of An American Carol (2008) by Angel O — 14 Oct 2008

I was pretty disappointed with this film. I really enjoyed how there was actually a film that made fun of Hollywood and the far-left, but the humor in this movie was tainted with a lot of garbage that we DO see in the latest Hollywood comedies.

I am not big on kids cussing and it seemed every kid in this movie said some nasty stuff. Not only that, they producers thought it funny yo have the kids do some of the disgusting hand gestures the adults did.

I expect this from immature males, but not boys. Honestly, I wasnâ??t all that please. Maybe I am just a prude these days, but Hollywood is disappointing me more and more. That movie was definitely not PG-13 in my opinion.

Anyway, see it if you wish. Itâ??s a nice alternative ideologically speaking, but in terms of content, it pretty much has the same trash (just to a lesser degree). I guess there is no such thing as a clean comedy these days.
