Review of An American Carol (2008) by Marshall S — 21 Nov 2008
This one I saw with my republican parents, much to their hilarity. Even with me leaning more to slightly left of middle, I rather enjoyed the parody and metaphors of todays society, most of them true if not slightly exaggerated.
And its good to see there is still some republicans left in Hollywood. If you are at all middle or to the right, you will get several good laughs out of this one. It's not an anti-Michael Moore movie so much as a fun romp Bill and Ted style through the woes of modern America, criticized through the minds of Patton, Kennedy and Washington.
While you probably didn't catch it during the two seconds it was in theaters, it's definitely worth a rent if not a buy, for your veteran eagle-tattooed uncle.
