Review of An American Carol (2008) by Laura J — 14 Jan 2009
This was a pretty enjoyable movie, especially if you're conservative politically. Directed by David Zucker, 1/2 the team that made the "Airplane!" movies, and starring an ensemble cast of well-known but conservative actors, this film parodies Hollywood Leftie director Michael Moore, and basing the story loosely on Dickens' Christmas Carol.
It's cleverly done and very witty, sometimes slapstick. To me, it was just refreshing to see the Hollywood "minority" get a chance to show the ridiculous-ness of some of the Left-wing positions.
