Review of An American Carol (2008) by Cory W — 24 Mar 2009
This movie was neat. It was a totally right-winged and conservitiively fuelled movie, unfair to all liberals, and I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. Kevin Farley was good as Michael Malone, the Michael Moore-ish fiilmmaker bent on abolishing the 4th of July.
He is visited by 3 American heroes (and Trace Adkins) who get him to realize the true meaning of pride in America. Some of the jokes were cheesy, but had some great laughs. It had a great message, and made you think a little bit about your love of America.
Zucker (the MASTER of satire) made a great movie out of this. The reviews of this probably wern't great (Liberal Hollywood), but I thought it was a funny movie with some great points. It loses a star for 1.
cheesy jokes 2. Paris Hilton in the movie. (seriously?!?!?), but the tiny tim kid IS the kid from Hancock. Overall, a funny movie with a message!
