Review of An American Carol (2008) by Al W — 05 Dec 2009
This movie was funny but was filmed on the FALSE premise that Liberals DON'T love America! Is that what you all think? Ban the 4th of July? Don't support the troops? I hope people that saw this movie didn't really take that to heart or think it was real. As satire and creative license it worked well.
I think Kevin Farley and Kelsey Grammer were good and the "Rosie O'Connell" part was a hoot! I also thought the "he's only a documentary filmmaker" story line was good, too. Oh, and the "you look a lot fatter in real life.".
It's too bad liberals don't have more "support the troops" rally but it's hard to get rallied up on classical music (instead of country), wine (instead of bud light) or tennis (instead of NASCAR).
