Review of An American Carol (2008) by Teddy L — 31 Dec 2009
Pretty much I mainly liked this movie because it was a spoof of Michael Moore and I hate Michael Moore. Well in my mind pretty much everybody hates him. It just had the same personality as him and all of that and it seemed like Michael Moore trying to do a movie. I just thought it was a funny movie which a lot of people did not hear of, or did not even know that this movie exists. An American Carol is one of those kind of movies that was really funny that only like less than 100,000 people knew what the heck this movie was.
This movie is from the director of The Naked Gun and Airplane. At first when I was going to see the movie I did not even know it was from the director of Airplane. If I knew that I would have went immediately. He also did a pretty good job directing this movie. Not as good as The Naked Gun and Airplane of course. But still it was just okay. I was a little disappointed but he did do pretty good but it is not really the best directing job he has ever done in his career.
Kevin Farley plays Michael Moore and also is Chris Farley?s brother. He was just very funny and he is sort of like following his brothers footsteps. He did a really good performance as Michael Moore and he was frickin hilarious.
But this is a funny movie and it is worth watching but you should just rent it. But it is not really worth buying.
