Review of An American Carol (2008) by Richard M — 04 Oct 2008
Don't listen to the liberal blogs and drive by media! This film is hilarious! Kevin Farley does a dead-on impression of you know who, Kelsey Grammer is terrific and funny as Patton, Jon Voight a big surpise as George Washington, and a great supporting cast. Fans of SNL and Keith Olberman may not like it, but most of them have a poorly developed sense of humor anyway or they wouldn't watch those shows in the first place. We saw it in a packed theater in a very liberal town down the hall from a sparsely-attended showing of Religulous, the new Bill Maher fairy tale about how Christians and Jews are ruining America and the world. Gee, that sounds worth an $11 movie ticket, doesn't it? LOL!
It was a breath of fresh air to finally see the conservatives laughing at the libtards! Is it really in bad taste? Probably, but most good satire is.
Go see this now. It's a vote for conservative entertainment. If your local theater isn't showing it, demand that they do.
