Review of An American Carol (2008) by Deb S — 14 May 2010
This movie has more than its share of stupid, slapstick scenes but really what else would you expect from a movie with Leslie Nielsen? The plot is based loosely on three spirits visiting a scrooge type (Michael Malone) like in a Christmas Carol.
The question is: can they make this clowd that wants to ban the Fourth of July see the light and come to appreciate real American values? The movie makes fun of everything and everyone, from terrorist training videos to the Rosie O'Connell segment.
Politics aside, this movie is hilarious and definitely worth seeing.
