Review of An Alan Smithee Film: Burn, Hollywood, Burn (1998) by Matt K — 26 Feb 2009
A filmmaker whose baby (as in beloved film) is hijacked by the producers and turned into a piece of big budget crap, someone had to make this movie and express what many would likely want said. I won't pretend it's terrific cinema, but I really enjoyed this.
It helps if you love Eric Idle. His dialogue with the "Cossacks" is hilarious.
