Review of An Affair to Remember (1957) by Charlotte B — 09 May 2008

I was expecting more from this movie, I do not know why ... perhaps because of how it is trumped up so much by many people and other movies.

I did find it enjoyable, certainly different to movies these days, which is never a bad thing.

Cary and Deborah did not seem to have any chemistry onscreen but that is my humble opinion.

I find the ending bittersweet while the whole movie leading up to it is slightly slow and sketchy with the details.

Nevertheless a good movie.
