One of the best movies of the year. Amy is powerful, mesmerizing, and ultimately tragic. Prior to her death, we only knew Amy Winehouse from how the media described her. Filmed entirely with real archival footage of the singer, Amy shows a different side.
She was a woman who wanted to sing but didn't want to be famous. It was fame that led to her downfall. This woman had one of the most incredible voices in the world, and the media killed her.
