*My Favorite*.
This is a very sad film which will ruin you for awhile.
The directing is amazing and I think only a 70 year old man can describe this story in such a proper way.
Emmanuelle Riva's acting in this film is absolutely a new description of acting and Jean-Louis Trintignant's is perfect.
... and yes... "Love's a Bitch"!
