Review of Amour (2012) by Logan T — 20 Feb 2013
Haneke not only succeeds in subtle profundity, but he also evokes so much flawless imagery and symbolism that it is ingeniously masterful. "Amour" could not have been constructed any better, and it perfectly balances tenderness with moments of heart-wrenching sympathy for these two magnificently written characters.
