Review of Amour (2012) by Haydn W — 25 Feb 2013
Amour is the best film of 2012. If ever there was a contender for a "perfect" film, this would be it. The acting is perfect(Riva was ROBBED of an Oscar.) The direction is perfect. The script is perfect.
It's hard to watch, but also moving and brave. Most importantly, it teaches us about ourselves, which is more than any film that came out last year can say.
