A true masterpiece on that human condition we call love. Bright, sad, and heartbreaking, the dynamic between Trintignant and Riva -in the year's best female performance- is unparalleled. Rings extremely true, that's why some movigoers might find it beyond uncomfortable.
But you have to stay for the ballsy, alas romantic, ending.
