Review of Amour (2012) by Nathan M — 10 Feb 2014
I'm not a big Michael Haneke fan to begin with, so this film didn't work for me. I truly appreciated the efforts of Haneke and his two wonderful leads to try and portray aging spouses dealing with old age. But I couldn't get past the slow pace and the exploration of the mundane nature of old age.
I appreciated it, but I didn't enjoy it.
