Review of Amour (2012) by Thee Chad S — 18 Feb 2013
I did not enjoy the film at all. I understood all the little details but I fail to see why this is remarkable or even necessary. The performances were great and the idea behind the actual film promotes a necessary discussion but the overall experience is as sterile as the photography.
If still-life is what Haneke is going for then he succeeded. I'm not jumping on this band wagon.
