Review of Amos & Andrew (1993) by Danny B — 26 May 2010
Before either actor were household names, Nicolas Cage and Samuel L. Jackson starred in this not terrible, but not Midnight Run odd couple comedy. And this odd, but entertaining Hillbilly/Playwright pair really is the only reason to watch.
Sure, Giancarlo Espositoâ??s righteous marcher Reverend Fenton Brunch (what a fabulous name!) and Brad Dourifâ??s bumbling sharpshooter deputy supply a giggle or two, but there is nothing new under the sun and youâ??ll be thankful the run time barely scratches over 90 minutes.
