A multi story hyperlink movie, with 3 parallel engrossing storylines, united by a random incident, Amores Perros seems to reflect the expression which is a literal translation into English: "love is a bitch".. The three storylines explore love in different forms, and how the idea of love influences the actions of different individuals, and how it transforms their lives. Unrequited love is a constant theme throughout the movie, embedded into the raw action. Enough violence to keep some happy, with terrific performances by most of the cast, the movie never really lacks a good pace. Beautifully executed movie with a taut script and a keen observation of human behavior, Amores Perros is a must watch if you love thrilling international cinema.
