Review of Amores Perros (2000) by Zehra P — 09 Apr 2010
Beautifully shot & directed. This film is a masterpiece of story telling with all stories woven together by one car crash. There were parts which made it painful to watch, the pure violence the dogs endured seemed so real. On the surface the main characters are portrayed as decent good people, but as the story developes we begin to experience how people are not what the seem to be. It may seem like a long film when you see it's 2 & a half hours but you will stay throughly enagaged throughout.
The cast were fantastic through every scene. Alvaro Guerrero is fast becoming a favourite of mine.
