Amazing storytelling on a big scale propels this stylistic drama that concerns a few interconnecting stories taking place on the streets of Mexico City. Each story is well told and completely entertaining, the acting by the large cast is perfect, the script and direction are fantastic.
Alejandro Irritu would go on after this to make more fascinating dramas, one, Babel, being very similar to this in terms of story structure and emotional impact, but none matching Amores Perros in terms of quality, entertainment and effectiveness.
