Review of Amores Perros (2000) by Greg B — 14 Feb 2012
In their own ways, "21 Grams" and "Babel" are basically relocated repeats of "Amores Perros," in terms of the intersecting three-way narratives. It's a very enjoyable plot device, but it was best put to use in this film.
While I thought it was an excellent film, the dogfighting scenes were uncomfortable to watch.
