Review of Amores Perros (2000) by Damjan R — 28 Dec 2012
Such a rich tapestry cannot be surmised by a couple of review sentences, and the power of this film lies in the interweaving and colliding of the fates in question. Arriaga and Inarittu are in sublime form as they spin the story of love, passion, money, family and with Rodrigo Prieto behind the camera, this story has an authentic and visceral look to go with the story.
Sections of the film are really quite something to behold, but they are lost in the film's length, which distils some of it strength, but it's a great watch still. Recommended for anyone who thinks we are all connected.
