Review of Among Ravens (2014) by Seymour T — 18 Jul 2014

I was lucky enough to see an early screening of Among Ravens and let me just say this is one movie that you do not want to miss. The first thing that stands out about this film is the gorgeous cinematography.

Directors Russell Friedenberg and Randy Redroad did an outstanding job of capturing the simplistic beauty of rural Idaho, every shot is absolutely gorgeous. The story revolves around a group of friends sharing a cabin but it stretches in many interesting and surprising directions.

One of the most remarkable elements of the film was the performance turned in by child actor Johnny Sequoyah, she plays one of the leads and in doing so cements her place as one of Hollywood's next big stars.

Among Ravens is one of those movies that sticks with you long after you finish watching it and contains a sense of depth that many mainstream films are missing these days. I can't wait to watch it again because my appreciation for this film has only grown as time has passed.

If you're a lover of film or just loved to be entertained, I can't suggest this movie highly enough!
