A single half-hearted idea of interest thrown in at the end isn't enough to save Amityville Awakening from the heaps of other problems it faces. Having now seen it, the 3 years of delays concluding with a free release on youtube, approved by the Weinstein's after recent sex scandal coverage, I couldn't think of a more fitting conclusion to an unwarranted horror sequel.
