Review of Amityville II: The Possession (1982) by Prkprk P — 28 Oct 2010
Steals from The Exorcist with crosses, groaning, demonic possession of a teen son. While not as terrible as many have written here on RT, its about as B movie as it gets. The loser uncle in Rocky stars as the father of the family that has the good "luck" to move into the old mansion.
This is typical crap put out by Hollywood that stole as much as it could from the extremely succesful Exorcist. From a priest visiting to plates flying across the room, this is good to those that don't know better.
A local priest tries to rid the house of unclean spirits, but what he doesn't yet suspect is that teenage son Sonny Montelli has been possessed, body and soul, by a murderous demon bent on total destruction.
This film suffers from too much horror, too much stress too soon. There is no developement of the problem of this house.
