Brilliant movie about human rights. The language barrier provided for some nice comic relief moments in an overall serious movie. My mother was really angry at me for making fun of John Quincy Adams being senile, but I just couldn't help it.
As she aptly put it, "Martin Van Buren was a boob." The ending was like a punch in the face. "Congrats, you've won your freedom and you get to go home! By the way your whole family is dead and your village has been destroyed! Kthanksbye!".
