Amistad. Just great. I will always complain about movies that are longer than 2 hours but this one was straight entertainment for the entire 2 and a half. Extremely impressive how Spielberg can captivate the audience like it's nobody's business.
Hopkins and Hounsou were unreal followed closely by McConaughey, Freeman, and Postlethwaite. I do not like Anna Paquin in anything. The movie itself was a solid story and it had the perfect amount of brutality, action, drama, etc.
Loved it a lot and incredible opening scene. 8/10.
