At times extremely difficult to watch, Amistad tells the tale of the landmark supreme court case of the slave mutiny aboard the Spanish slave ship La Amistad that may have well been the final strike to the wedge that split the North from the South and lead to the American Civil War.
Amistad is an extremely intense historical drama supported by an all-star cast that should not be missed.
