Okay - The last American Pie in what I class as the original trilogy and the one before the cash cow started to get milked...A lot.

For people who grew up with American Pie throughout High School this was the movie we wanted to be made as young adults - It's like closure.

It puts a full stop on the story (We now know we'll be re-introduced to the original gang again later this year) but for the purpose of this review I'm going to pretend I don't know that bit of information.

American Pie 3 or more commonly know as "The Wedding" is again, like the other two movies a barrel of laughs. Some iconic scenes grace our screens like the "Dance Off" "Tastes Like Twigs & Berries" "Special Haircut" and "Stag Party" scenes to name but a few and these moments always bring a smile on my face.

For me the big difference with this movie is a sort of underlining seriousness - It's gone a bit mushy - All full of tenderness...And it works.

American Pie like it's audience has grown up (A little bit) and despite the same mistakes and calamities you feel as young adults they are better placed to deal with the pitfalls of romance.

It sort of leaves you in a position to move on...Everything is going to be alright.

I'm really looking forward to the new American Pie and the teasers are already as funny as the early stuff so let's hope they get it right and again we can enjoy the warm comfort that American Pie offers.
