Review of American Wedding (2003) by Henrik S — 13 May 2012
A solid third entry in the series that pretty much continues where the others' left off. Toilet humour and cameraderie, an unexpectedly charming combination. The movie lives off the relation that audiences built up with the characters and themes of friendship, responsibility and growing as a human being (albeit it in its most cheesy and superficial form) make an expected return.
If you think eating shit or sleeping with your grandmother is funny, you will chuckle, if you think that culture can be saved by steering clear of American white trash cinema, than avoid this like a plague of locusts.
I thought it was a nice thing to watch on a hungover Sunday evening, so there you go.
