Review of American Violet (2008) by Kofi F — 04 Feb 2010

I really enjoyed watching this movie, even though there were some sad, upsetting, cruel scenes. But I am so happy for a girl like Dee Roberts to remain strong and do what she needed to do. She tried to avoid being guilty because she knows she didn't do anything wrong.

Even though it put heavy weight to her shoulders, she still remained strong. Racism is a huge thing in this world, not only there are prisoners who plead guilty like by force, but there's racism like cops beat up random people for racism lately.

And this is one of movie that portrays what's happening these days. Worth to watch!
