Review of American Ultra (2015) by Rama G — 18 Aug 2015

American Ultra is a sloppy but fun movie with more heart than expected. Kristen Stewart is the standout to me. She has shown flashes of talent before and I hope she continues to put in performances like this instead of Snow White and the Huntsman.

Jesse Eisenberg is a solid lead in this stoner action film. While I didn't like the character he was playing, Topher Grace played the part he was given well and had a couple laugh out loud lines (his best about a truck).

Overall, the movie is nothing special and the ending is a bit sloppy, but it's an entertaining movie if you're looking for a fun comedy/action movie.
