Review of American Ultra (2015) by Scott H — 20 Aug 2015
Eisenberg and Stewart certainly have chemistry, and overall the film has moments that are really funny and unique, but nothing it does can overcome the over-the-top and horrendous acting from Topher Grace, as well as moments where Stewart reverts back to her typical lip-biting Twilight character.
Had Grace been a worthy villain it likely would have worked better, but too often what he and Stewart do takes you out of the moment.
